H-lounge.com Announces Hyperscore(R) Ringtone Competition Judged by U2's Edge and MIT Luminaries
H-Lounge, the online social networking site for making and sharing music, today announced its inaugural ringtone competition. The Competition leverages the site's award-winning Hyperscore® software, which lets users not only listen to and share music, but also create and collaborate with fellow H-Loungers of all ages via web and mobile phone. The Competition winners, to be announced at the end of the month and honored at a ceremony on the MIT campus, will receive cash and prizes from Boston-area sponsors including The Lyons Group, Avalon Club, and H-Lounge.
"I'm excited to be taking part in H-Lounge's Ringtone Competition," commented Edge, guitarist with U2. "Ringtones are a legitimate branch of Pop music and this is a great opportunity for up-and-coming songwriters to create something designed specifically for the medium."
